In 2009, I began to collect photos and artifacts from our old school, Abbot Penning High School in DePere, Wisconsin. It closed (merged) in 1990. I started to organize them on my godaddy hosted web page, and purchased the abbotpennings.com domain to steer people there.
Enough people found the page, it resonated with a lot of Squires, and many were kind enough to send me other pictures, video and artifacts that I could digitize and share. As of today, July 24, 2019, that page is still there, but it looks like it was made by a 1990s webmaster with outdated html code that doesn't display well on mobile devices.
There is also a facebook group with more interactive discussions. Abbot Pennings has his own google account because it's a lot easier to put photo galleries here, and now he has a blog. Over time, I'm going to move the content from the HTML site here, and once it has some critical mass, I will point the domain there as well.
